I'm 4 days old...check-up with Doc MBM

Hey people, it's me...Bennett Sherck.  My Mom told me about this blog and that I get to share turns with my big brother Brady with writing updates.  Since Brades is always busy at daycare I think I'll be taking over for a couple weeks.

I'm doing GREAT!  I had my first doctor's appointment at PIP on Tuesday with my love, my sunshine Doctor MaryBeth Mahoney!  She is Brady's doctor and he told me great things about her but NOT about her nurse helpers.  I heard she is nice but those nurses will soon start poking me with shots. Ouch.  Not yet for a couple more weeks...

Here are stats for my first appointment at 4 days old

• Weight: 5lbs, 14 oz. (3%)
• Height: 18.5 inches (10%)
• Head size: 35cm (25%)
• Cuteness level: SOARING out of this world

I'm just a little peanut, just like my brother brady was when he was born.  I'm working on eating, barfing, pooping and sleeping but Doc MB said I need to focus on the eating thing this week so I can gain a little more weight.  I go back to the office to see her next Wednesday.

Many more to come....Gma Durham from CA arrives on Saturday for an entire week and we have several visitors that will be stopping by to meet me, the big cheese of the family! This week dad has already showed me how to play flight simulator, Brady has asked me to play hockey with him (over and over again) and Mom just tells me I'm 'so darling' all of the time.  Sounds like her and Daddy are feeling very lucky to have two cute, healthy, handsome little boys and I don't blame them!  I'm so excited for all of our family adventures: camping, skiing, cabining, fishing, traveling and much more.

A few people have asked...will I have a nickname? Well, for now my name is Bennett and you can call me that.  Mom & Dad have started calling me a few nicknames around here already like Squeaker (I squeak when I cry and it's precious) but you can call me Bennett.
