Please welcome...Bennett John Sherck!

Introducing the new addition to our family, Bennett John!  We headed to the hospital about 530am on Friday 2/18 because I was having consistent contractions and baby BOY SHERCK #2 made his appearance at 11:17am - 6 lbs, 2 oz & 19 inches long.

This delivery was a COMPLETELY different experience than the rush when Brady was born.  We arrived to the hospital, was monitored for contractions for an hour, spent an hour walking laps, and continued to progress and labor on my own.  As I was told, "you're made to deliver babies", I progressed VERY quickly therefore was not able to receive an epidural but did receive a 2 hour spinal block which was heaven sent and made the experience so much more comfortable.  Dr. Sarkinen was able to lay out a plan for the day and it went faster than normal but, Bill is a little bummed he doesn't have any GREAT stories to tell about the delivery.  He thinks it was funny and says there was "coffee" talk during the delivery of Bennett due to the spinal block.  We are very lucky to have two healthy, beautiful little boys and can't wait to see them grow!    Pictures in no order attached below from the past few whirlwind days and MANY MORE to come as we continue to get in a routine, get sleep and adjust to the addition of another baby, brother and family member in our household.  We arrived home on Sunday and are looking forward to having Brady with us later today as he's been staying with Gma & Gpa Sherck since early morning on Friday!  Brady has already been asking us if Bennett can play hockey with him.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes...we cannot wait for you all to meet him!
