Check out the xmas Cookies I made with Mama! I did the baking, she did the frosting.

Christmas was great this year! I still don't quite understand Santa....how he gets to all the houses, why he took away my pacifiers, where he gets all of the presents, but I do know that he has been watching over me all year! We had an awesome Christmas with the Sherck side of the family - Gma, Gpa, Aunt Laura, Uncle Bill & Cousins Michael & Rachel. Rachel, I love her so much. Within the first 2 minutes of seeing her, she had already told me "Brady, can you please be quiet? You're giving me a headache" Yeah, I guess I talk too much....

The COUSINS! Michael - 5, Brady - 2 & Rachel - 7.5

Sherck/Sims family over at our house Thursday night for a pre-xmas night of Chicken Chalupas!

Xmas Eve day we headed over to Gma/Gpa's house - and LOOK AT ALL OF THOSE PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE!! Wowee...boy do I feel extremely fortunate and thankful for presents.

Christmas day Gpa helped me open gifts...

Me & Mom xmas morning with our bed head. Check out my jammies...Santa left these for me under my pillow on xmas even while I was at church!

Santa came and brought me a train set, an aqua doodle, books, bubble bath & a new big red sled. I opened so many gifts....I was over-whelmed but I got some awesome stuff!

Me & Michael taking a break on Xmas to watch Curious George with a cup of dry cereal & juice.

The Sherck Family! Mama & baby, Daddy and I - don't we look great?!?!?!

Thanks to everyone for all of the great gifts. We feel very grateful this year for our family, friends, health, love, jobs, home and my new baby bro/sis on the way.
As far as the Flu and a Stubborn Baby Sherck...
Thurs, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Mom had been having some infrequent contractions and leaking fluid. She called the doctor on Christmas Day afternoon and the on-call doctor recommended that she & Dad head to North Memorial Hospital to check to make sure things were safe with the baby. Mom & Dad spent a few hours at the hospital while they were monitoring contractions, the baby's heart beat and various other tests which all came back negative which is WONDERFUL news. At 31 weeks, the baby should not be ready to come yet. Mom is trying to take it easy & rest and heading back to the doctor for a scheduled appt Monday morning (tomorrow) Please continue to pray for a healthy itty baby sis/bro and a healthy continuation of the pregnancy.
Like that wasn't enough excitements for Christmas day, not only did they miss out on Gma/Gpa's sweet Xmas dinner of Roast Beef & popovers, but they both came down with the 24 hr flu as well (nausea & temp). I ended up staying the night at Gma/Gpa's house while my parents slept 13 hours straight at our house. They are on the mend today and hope to be back to near 100% tomorrow.
Tonight, I'm headed for bed WITHOUT my pacifiers because Santa brought them to the new babies. Daddy is downstairs playing with our new home theater set-up and Mom is laying on her side in bed watching some reality show on E! I'm sure Mom will post in the next 2 days with a baby update!
I hope everyone had a great Holiday!
