Am I ready to be a BIG BROTHER?

This was a GREAT weekend! I started off Friday night with my first ever sleepover! Yep, I stayed overnight at Shelli's house on Friday night (as an xmas gift to the daycare parents)...and it was a blast! I was with all of my friends, we stayed up late, ate pizza & ice cream and watched movies. We all slept together on our sleeping bags! Dad was away from work, and I've been busy tearing up the house and finding every single hockey player, soccer ball, santa, fish & snowman ornaments on the tree. Every morning when I come downstairs, I'll turn the lights on and say "Mom/Dad, I like Christmas trees" Well, to be honest, that's my thing now, I'll tell you that I like many things. I like fire trucks. I like my blankie. I like trains. I like Caiou. I like chocolate. I like meatballs. I like my hat. I like my name. I like Daddy. I like hockey sticks. And, of course many more...

Mom had another baby check-up appointment today to get updates to you on specs of my new little brother or sister. She's feeling good and has officially started to waddle like a penguin. The baby has a strong heartbeat of 150bpm, mom has gained 18 lbs so far and the response from the doctor is "that's not bad" which we think means it's okay:) I am very proud of her as she's been able to somewhat maintain her blood sugar levels by watching the carb content in her meals. She still sneaks some sweets here & there though just to get by which the doctor thinks is just fine! Please continue to pray for a strong, healthy baby and continuation of the pregnancy! The doctor says she will plan on inducing at 39 weeks if Mom hasn't gone 'on her own' before then so the 39 weeks would put a date around Feb 23rd or around then. Mark your calendar! Am I really ready for this? I know where the baby's room is and I know that I have to be quiet when the baby is sleeping but that's all I've learned so far.

I'm so excited for this weekend....

Friday night Mama and I are going with friends to Disney on Ice! Whippee! And, Saturday I have my Birthday Party with all of my kid friends at Davanni's pizza! I don't really care about the pizza, just BRING ON THE CUPCAKES!
