Baby in the Belly @ 26 Weeks

Because this is Brady's blog and because I'm his mother, I think I'm allowed to write a post here & there about his new brother or sister... Now 26 weeks along with Baby Sherck #2....is it a boy or a girl? We have no idea. Picture above for those of you (family & friends) that live far away so you can see the baby's "progress." I met for a couple hours with this past week with a Diabetes Educator Nurse & Nutritionist to help set me straight on my new low carb diet for the next 3 months. I feel much better meeting with them again the 2nd time around to help me understand how to keep my blood sugar levels under control. Funny thing - tonight I was telling Bill that just in the past 4-5 days, I've been feeling a lot better with more energy. This is a good thing! The whole thing about not being able to stuff my face with ice cream & chocolate, well, that sucks. I'm sure I'll post an updated belly picture closer to the due date late February!
