My Weekend Trip to Duluth and Lake Superior!

Happy Monday! I'm starting out writing today about what I LOVE to do lately....play in the car. Mom & Dad should have never let me do it one time because now I will say "peeeeez cah" over and over again. I wish they just knew that I love pressing all of the buttons. Mom thought this was a cute, typical picture of me wearing my hat with my ears flatened, no pants and running around in my diaper in the front yard. That's the way I like it. This past weekend was great! While Dad worked and fly fished for trout with his buddies, Mommy and I headed up to Duluth to see Karis! The weather was beautiful and pictures are attached in no order. We went to see where all of the big ships come in the harbor - Canal Park
There is a lighthouse at the end of the Pier. Here I am with Karis - I climbed the stairs by myself!
Oh, yeah boy my spirits were lifted. Mom and Karis's spirits were lifted after those glasses of wine too! Thank you Karis for taking care of us - we had a blast! We went out for lunch in Canal Park at an organic-type (ish) of restaurant. Best part of all, auntie Karis got me a cookie after my meal. Look at the size of this thing - YUM!We went shopping and Karis bought me my first nalgene bottle. It's blue! Karis and I sat on the moose below for this photo opp.
I chucked rocks in Lake Superior and climbed on huge rocks. I have so many pictures that I'm only showing you a few!
We spent Saturday night having dinner over at Steve's house - he's Karis's better half. He's prrrty cool. He made me a hamburger and broccoli and he let me play in his big backyard where I went on adventures for deer, bugs n' stuff. I'll be posting a few more pictures of Steve, Karis and fishing pictures with daddy in my next post. My computer is giving me a heck-of-a-time tonight.
We finished the weekend back at home with a broken water pipe, tearing out carpet in the basement from flooding, plumbers, insurance agents and restoration guys and will continue to do so until our basement gets fixed from the broken pipe in the wall. Sure glad my bedroom is upstairs and thanking the heavens for glorious home owners insurance. I keep telling Mother that the deductible will go to good use:)
Ending you with a photo of A. Cami and Mommy when they were little. I think Mom was 2 yrs old in this picture. Do I look like her?
