Buzzy as a Bee

This is another one of those picture posts - I have been so dang busy lately, it's hard for me to take the time to post! In no particular order, the excitement of the past week. I'm now almost 17 months old. Time flies! Here's me & Dadda this weekend - eating panpakes for breakfast.

My favorite thing to do in the garage lately is play with Dad's fishing rods - I even know how to say "ouch" and "no-no" and point to the sharp stuff. This past Wednesday night, I had my first REAL babysitter. I've had several people watch me before, but this cool girl named Myriah (she's in 7th grade) came over to my house while Mommy & Dada went to the Twins game! Thanks Shelli for recommending Myriah because I lOVVVVVVVED her because she took me to the park and let me chew on rocks.
They went with our friends Katie & David - super fun! The new field is amazing and they loved every minute of it - the Murray's steak sandwich, the pizza, the gelado and even the beer.

Here's Mom and Ryerse, they had this whole huge thing of treats. Oh, women.

Lately, at this age - I want to help with EVERYTHING around the house. I helped Dad patch a few holes in the yard and he even let me throw some grass seed.
Saturday was a great day! I met all of my friends - Fuzz, Reese, Jade, Gavin, Brooklynn & Addison at the Maple Grove Community Center for an indoor playground date and picnic. We had a blast - that was....until I threw a 20 minute FREAKOUT tantrum and everyone was staring at me. Mom was super embarassed but I told her I was sorry. I didn't get a pic of all of the kids together - we're all just like monkeys and were running around like wild animals. I call this place a little over-stimulating. It's cool & all, but man there were a ton of kids and I preferred to just stand and watch the other kids. (see picture below)
HEre's is Fuzz & Jade - we had a nice picnic lunch. I'm not in the picture because I was throwing my fit during this time.
Saturday night Karis came over! She was in town for the weekend and it was a GREAT visit.

Karis taught me how to play the drums on the counter. I was a gigglin' machine.
Speaking of Karis - her new boy toy Steve - I posted a picture of us from a few weekends ago when we were in Duluth. He had this super cool wind chime in his backyard that I wanted to listen to all night.
This past week, I also met up with an "old buddy" of mine, Evan. Actually, I've never really met him before, but his Mom & Dad and my Mommy & Dada went to the child birthing classes together. Evan and I are the same age and we met for a play date at the park - he is one fearless dude.
Evan - can't wait until next time!
That's about it. I've been very cranky lately but my parents are hoping that it's just more teeth coming in. I'm saying new words everyday and thanks to daycare, my new favorite word is "mine" and "let's roll" Dadda and I always say "let's roll" when we're leaving the house to head for daycare in the morning. Hope everyone is doing well! XXOX
