New paint job in baby's bedroom at 37 weeks!

Check out BS's new room! I had this crazy idea to paint some horizontal stripes on the walls(instead of artwork) for the babies room. While I sat in a chair, handed out tall beers and directed Lisa & Dad on the "project", it turned out great! Thank you to Lisa's patience and thoroughness, it's exactly what I was looking for. We're planning on ordering the baby's name in 8" cherry wood lettering to add to the wall below the third stripe after the birth.

Again, the girls had a fun time with Bill while we were hard at work (more pictures to come from their trip to Cabellas) It's interesting how Bill entertains the girls...they spent Friday night tying flies and all they ever want to do is GO FISHING!
A couple sister photos below - how do you like the one of all three of us pregnant? Priceless. Ellie hasn't changed a bit -but continues to be her goofball self. When Bill asked her how she was born her response was "the pizza delivery man dropped me off at the front step." What a nut.The last one I had to include - Zoie. She could possibly be the most BEAUTIFUL 2nd grader I have ever met. She's turning into such a girl now and wants nothing more for a shopping trip with Cami and I. Bless her heart:)

We spent Saturday night out to dinner at Space Aliens with friends Brandon, Keegan and Cooper (2 yrs) What a great place for "over-stimulation" for a two year old! Bill snapped a pic me with the Alien kids menu.

Bill and I went to church this morning and he's now out on Lake Independence with Brandon getting one last fish-on before it really gets too cold to fish. The high today is about 30 degrees. Isn't that cold enough? Since Brandon's wife Keegan will be induced Tuesday AM with their 2nd little boy and I'm about ready to blow any day - we thought the boys could use one last rendezvous out for some relaxation before screaming babies arrive. Ha!

My plan today is to get my nails and toes painted (thanks to the gift certificate from Rye and Cullen), run to the grocery store and make baked chicken wings in preparation for the girls night at the Shercks tonight with seven of my girlfriends! We're watching the 80's movie "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"...how cliche, huh? I've felt good the past few days and am surprised at how my body continues to change and grow! BS is definitely squished. Please continue to pray for a healthy rest of the pregnancy and delivery!

For those of you that didn't hear the update from last week's doc's appt. Not too much that is new...which is good, right?

*Baby's heart beat = 150 bpm
*Tummy = measuring up to be right in line
*Weight gain = gained another 1 lb in the past week which is the exact amount for this point
*Dialated = 1-2cm still
*Gestational Diabetes = need to watch it more than ever now. In the past two weeks I've had a tough time keeping it under control -so, I guess I'll be eating celery for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She said- only a few more weeks you need to eat protein, protein and protein.
*My swollen tree trunk legs = normal
*Pressure in pelvic & tailbone areas = normal
*Forgetfulness & snipiness = normal (right, Bill?)

The doctor said that she doesn't feel that they would let me go any later than Dec 2nd...will probably have a Nov baby but we'll have to wait and see!
