9 month checkup today and I rocked it.
Weight: 19.5lbs (25-50%)
Height: 17.5 inches (25%)
Head size: I guess I have a huge brain (75-90%)
At 9 months I'm eating with my fingers. I like cheerios, crackers, cheetos, any FRUIT babyfood. I'm now eating cut up carrots, beans & turkey n' stuff like that! I am army crawling across the room, not quite yet pulling myself up on things yet. I can wave 'bye bye' and play patty cake. I'm a much happier baby the past couple months since I'm stronger and can sit up and get around and watch what everyone is doing. The only real person that makes me belly laugh is my brother, Brady. He's my hero. I'm a little stubborn, I don't smile that much unless something is really funny. When I get around people I don't know, I put my head down, peek out of the corner of my eye - letting them know I am shy. I have to teeth on the bottom and am drooling like a large dog. I'm starting to talk a lot - and am saying "Ahhhhh!!!" to get attention. I haven't quite figured out how to say Mama or Dadada quite yet. I love my bottles, eating much more than my big brother ever did at this age. I have my pacifier at night time but really dont use it much during the day except for my nap.
The doctor says I look great. I still have a lot of itchy eczema all over my body (back and scalp) which she feels should have gone away by now. I'll be running to the hospital for blood testing/allergy testing and also have some new meds I'll try. She suspects I'm allergic to something but we'll need to figure out exactly what it is. Until then, we'll stay away from more dairy, peanuts & eggs.
