Tomato Sirens

A note from me, Brady.

Daddy left early on Saturday for his annual trip up to Canada for his fly-in fishing trip with Gpa and Cousin Mark. We had all weekend to play outside but NOOO, the weather was horrible!  These super loud horns kept going off over and over again.  Because we were so scared and crying, Mom said we had to go in the basement to be safe.  We talked about the tornado sirens, about why it was important to be in the basement but, I looked at Mom and said "well, tell the tomato to go away!!!!"  She said if she had the masterwoman powers she would have.

We stayed inside a lot this weekend and were a little cooped up.  Mom was trying to get pictures of me & Bennett together which is a challenge because we're both on the moooove!  A couple pic examples below...not easy, I guess to get a good picture. Right, Mommy?
Take 1

Take 2
Here is a picture of us hanging together in the basement when all of the bad storms were passing. I was taking care of Bennett while Mom was drinking her glass of wine.
Brothers
I was bored as heck this weekend, so Mom and I did a lot of PRETENDING.  We played house and I was the princess, Bennett was the puppy and Mom was the Daddy.  Mom said it's not too cool for me to be the princess but I don't get what the big deal is...in the pic below, we were preending to be camping/fishing.  I caught a green block on the fishing pole and wouldn't have seen it unless I had my headlamp.

Typical Brady
Last Friday before Dad left on his trip, I saw Daddy give Mom a huge, big, passionate kiss!  I asked Mom "Mom, can I try that?"  She responded to me that I couldn't. Hmmm. Wonder why not?!?

I've also gotten in a little bit of trouble lately.  Because I'm talking like a 5 yr old, I'm starting to say some things that are a little naughty such as "you're stupid" & "you have a fat head."  Mommy & Daddy have been getting very angry at me when I say these things but I don't think I quite understand why I can't say them, but I know I need to stop it because I've been seeing smoke come out of Mama's ears.  Also...I've been much more picky at the dinner table at night as well and will often say "Mom, I don't like X (potatoes), X (potatoes) will make you sick"

Oh boy. I'll learn someday.
