This weekend was a special weekend for Mama Sherck because it was Mother's Day! The weekend started out...Dad and I got up bright and early on Saturday morning and made Mom an Egg Beaters omelette with Bacon, Aspargus & Morel Mushrooms. Before she ate, I took her on a scavenger hunt. I gave her a card that said "Happy Mamma's Day...look by the stereo" By the stero was another card with the picture below and it said "Free for one night away on June 25th...it's all booked!"

I sent her to my highchair where I had the next card hidden. I had a picture below and it said "reservations all set for June 25th for 8 people"

The last hiding spot I took her, had a picture of all of her girlfriends below. Me and Dadda were sneaky and planned this special day on June 25th with all of Mom's girlfriends. Two hotel rooms booked, dinner out for girls night and her friends have it on the calendar! I thought she hated the gift because she started to cry but then dad said that she was happy....she LOVES her girlfriends sooo much!

Saturday night we headed over to our friends from church, the Colby's. They have a beautiful huge house out in the country of Rogers/Hassan and I had a chance to play with my buddies Ian and Declan! Here's Ian (6 yrs) being a goofball:)

Me and Declan. He's 2 yrs old but he's a little guy and we're about the same size. Thanks Dirk, Leah, Ian & Declan for inviting us - we had a blast!

Sunday morning, Dad headed out by 330am for his first day of turkey hunting. By 8am the bird was down!! Great Job Dad! Sheesh, he's been talking about this for the past 3 months and the whole adventure lasted a total four hours. A nice 21 lb bird. Not as bid as last year but he told me "it's not about the size, it's about the experience Brades"

When Dad brought it home, he had to hold me because I wanted to tackle the thing...This pic below is the BEFORE TURKEY PICTURE:

This is the photo of Turkey: AFTER. Fresh homemade Turkey Pot Pie! Yum!

Have a good week everyone. Please pray for us that our insurance company starts being nice to us and giving us money this week at a decent price so we can figure out our carpeting in the basement. I really miss playing down there because all of my really fun toys are in the basesment. Happy Mother's Day to all Mommy's out there. Being a kid, I sure know that there are many things that Moms just do better.
