Rockin' Rogers

So, let's start with Friday. This weekend we got to whoop it up because it was Rockin' Rogers days here in my hood. What a great time. Friday, my friends Cooper, Crosby and Jade came over for a bit while the parents chatted and had some BLL's. (Bud Light Limes) Here's Croz...he is getting so big. Did you know that he is only 2 weeks older than I am? He is one huge dude. He's so huge, that I just sat at gazed into his eyes. Mom didn't get a good snap shot of Coop though, he was busy playing around! Here's my girl Jade. One minute she was there and the other minute she was gone. She got into her Mom's purse (Jen), found her wallet and started playing Accountant. After our house, we went over to the Shelli's house and her daughter Jenny babysat me, Coop and Croz while our parents went to the beer gardens and to listen to Johnny Holmes Band. It's kinda funny - whenever Mom goes out in a big group of people with crowd, everyone comments on how short she is. C'mon - 5'2" is not THAT short. Funny picture here of my parents taken right after someone told Mom that they thought she was shrinking.Of course, Mom & Jen had to be the ones that closed down the night while the others were responsible adults. From what I heard, it was worth it though - all exept Mom's raging headache on Saturday morning. So, on to Saturday! We rode our bikes to the Rockin' Rogers day parade and let me tell you, I LOVE bike rides.I got to watch the parade - and LOVED the bands and the drums. Hit a stick on a drum? That sounds easy - I can do that! That's what I had goin' on...pretty exciting! I've been a very happy boy this weekend; I love it when I get to go out and do stuff, play outside. Heading up to the cabin on Thursday night so probably won't post again until after the 4th of July. XOXO
